Role: Chief Compliance Officer - RC

We are currently representing a renowned client withing the asset management industry. The client has been in the industry for almost 2 centuries, with more than 190 bn CHF of Assets under Management in almost 30 countries worldwide.
As the Chief Compliance Officer & RC, your primary role will be to maintain and monitor the compliance process, ensuring that the company is adhering to all relevant local laws and regulations. This involves overseeing all compliance-related activities, including reporting and documentation, as well as supporting monitoring on delegated functions with a focus on compliance matters. It is essential that you maintain a high level of expertise in the legal and regulatory framework, and that you implement any necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
The Candidate
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience with a Luxembourg fund management company
- Very good knowledge of relevant legal framework and experience with implementation
- Outstanding understanding of the fund business (UCITS/AIF/PERE)
- Exceptional project management skills and relevant experience
- Fluent in English; fluency other European language will be a huge advantage
- High levels of personal and soft skills including team spirit and positive energy
- A clear commitment to high ethical and professional standards
The Role
- Oversee the compliance process and ensure that the company is complying with local laws and regulations
- Take the role of Compliance Officer and RC for the company and funds
- Prepare relevant reporting and documentation for the CSSF
- Provide support for monitoring delegated functions with a focus on compliance matters
- Report to the Conducting Officer who is responsible for Legal and Compliance
- Provide support to the Management Committee and Board of Directors on compliance-related matters
- Support the implementation of new laws and regulations
- Ensure that policies and procedures are compliant
- Manage a team of compliance professionals
