The Assistant General Counsel will be responsible for:
- Provide legal advice and transactional support in regards to the structuring of ABS and CLO offerings.
- Advise and support business lines in the establishment/structuring of new and complex products and initiatives.
- Advise on the legal and regulatory issues related to transactional/non-transactional aspects of the business initiatives of the Firm.
- Collaborate with the larger Americas and international legal teams to support the business efficiently.
The Assistant General Counsel should have the following skills/experience:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- 5+ years in-house bank or law firm experience.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Skilled in examining and restructuring operations and procedures, formulating policy, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
