Software Engineer - C++, Elite and Expanding Hedge-Fund
Compensation: $250,000-$500,000 total compensation (base + bonus)
Location: United States (remote)
Our client is a global high frequency trading firm that is taking the market by storm and making a name for themselves at record rate. They are looking for a highly proficient software engineer to join their rapidly growing team and to make an immediate impact. You will be collaborating alongside some of the most exceptional and passionate engineers in the industry and will be challenged to continuously improve your coding skills. You will be expected to adapt to the ever-changing financial market and to thrive under pressure consistently generating results.
What You'll be doing day to day:
- Devising the trading platform to administrate the ever-changing needs of different trading strategies, with emphasis on market data interfaces
- Collaborate with a team of like minded engineers to create solutions to problems as they relate to coding in a fast paced environment
- Write clean code (C++)
- Utilize tool sets to aid in debugging
What you need (Qualifications)
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development using C++
- Experience writing code in a multi-threaded environment
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
