Our client is considered one of the top macro-Hedge Funds in the world, the industry award-winning company want to grow their existing team based in London and are currently searching for a highly skilled Service Desk Analyst. The Service Desk Analyst will need to provide support for the firm's global desktop & VDI environment, as well as provide assistance to trade floor, VIP's and other group offices.
Service Desk Analyst Responsibilities:
- Active Directory administration
- Administration of VMWare Horizon VDI environment
- Provide 'White Glove' support to traders & VIP's
- Collaborate with existing members of the team to troubleshoot problems that arise
- Install & document support procedures
- Provide support for clients applications & software including: Windows 7/ Windows 10, Office 2010/ 2016, TCP/IP (DNS, DHCP etc), Miscellaneous third party tools
Service Desk Analyst Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience within IT related roles
- Used to working to best practice methodologies, e.g. ITIL
- Active directory administration including GPO
- VMWare VSphere Suite Administration
- Market data applications; Bloomberg (essential), Eikon
- PowerShell scripting
- Good understanding of control and delivery principles - Projects, Change Management
- Understanding of build and client distribution architectures (SCCM)
