My client a foreign securities firm is looking for an equity research analyst covering 6-8 pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Chinese healthcare industry, including regulatory policies, market trends, and competitive landscape. The candidate should also have a solid foundation in financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Conducting in-depth research on the assigned companies, including financial analysis, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Building and maintaining financial models for the assigned companies, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key industry contacts, including company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
- Writing research reports and presenting investment recommendations to senior analysts and portfolio managers.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of investment strategies.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
