A leading, top-performing real estate investment management fund based in the heart of London are hiring an Associate Director. This exciting role heads up the 4 person strong Client Services team based in London to deliver excellent client services and investor relations to a strong pool of institutional clients. The team maintains and strengthens long-term relationships with investors and takes charge for all formal client communications.
The role would be ideal for a technical candidate who can network and build relationships internally as the team work closely with a number of others and has experience leading a successful
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the UK client services team to ensure a high-standard approach from the team which is shared by related teams (ie fund management, fund service, compliance etc.)
- Ensure service standards are and client expectations are maintained by effectively allocating resources within the team.
- Develop internal relationships with key decision makers to achieve client services responsibilities.
- Ensure investor reports are created to a high standard, in line with legal standards and met with investors evolving needs.
- Lead by example in the creation of ad-hoc queries.
- Be an escalation point for institutional investors and be able to understand their needs and requirement and translate complicated / technical terms.
- Manage and develop the onboarding process, and own relationships with 3rd party transfer agents.
- Oversight on database and systems to ensure a first-class service.
Experience and Qualifications
- Strong management and leadership experience.
- Around 8-13 years experience (or relevant) is ideal for this role in investor relations or client services in the real estate space.
- A sound understanding of the real estate market.
- Technical knowledge in investments and accounting concepts and an understanding of real estate strategies and property markets.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft product suite and salesforce.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of seniority.
