A growing life and annuity company is looking for an experienced actuary to head up their Life & Annuity Valuation department. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the valuation process for our life insurance and annuity products. Please apply if qualified!
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of valuation actuaries and analysts, ensuring accurate and compliant valuation of their portfolio
- Lead the development, implementation, and execution of the life insurance and annuity valuation process
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting related to life insurance and annuity valuation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in life insurance and annuity valuation, with 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
- Strong understanding of actuarial principles, valuation methodologies, and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- FSA designation
