A top tier bank is seeking a seasoned Chief Compliance Officer to assume ownership of the Compliance program for a respected bank. As the Chief Compliance Officer, the qualified individual will assume overall responsibility for the continued development of an enhanced Compliance program spanning across the bank. The ideal Chief Compliance Officer will be a seasoned Compliance professional with specific experience managing and leading a staff to assist in the development and implementation of a program that helps mitigate risk associated with compliance.
Responsibilities
- Directs the implementation of an enhanced Compliance Program</li>
- Acting as an advisory figure for the Regulatory Compliance function across the Bank
- Ensuring that the department compliance policies and procedures are aligned with the most updated Banking and Federal regulations </li>
- Oversee the roll-out and implementation ensuring compliance is adhering to policies and procedures
- Responsible for growing Compliance personnel and staff including hiring, coaching and disciplinary actions
- Development of KRI's and relevant controls across relevant LoB's</li>
- Contribute to the continued enhancement of compliance practices, strategy, and methodologies
Requirements
- 10+ years of Compliance experience
- Expertise with regulations associated with the financial industry.
- 8+ years of management experience
