This major International financial institution is one of the leading banks in Asia where it has played a pivotal role in economic growth and development. Known for its extensive network of branches and a strong presence both domestically and internationally, this financial institution offers a wide range of banking and financial services, including retail and corporate banking, wealth management, and investment banking. As they continue to build out their US presence, they are looking to hire an AVP or VP in Treasury to come help the Head of Treasury in the day to day running of the desk in their New York Branch.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Treasury personnel to execute market transactions while adhering to the Treasurer's guidance and direction.
- Provide active support across various functions within the Treasury dealing room.
- Manage and update critical data files, ensuring they are well-prepared for both internal and external reviews.
- Assist in the development of computer models and reports to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy, working closely with the Treasury team.
- Engage in investor marketing activities under the supervision of the Head of Treasury, with a strong understanding of the Know Your Customer process.
- Generate Treasury reports such as weekly marketing reports, ALCO reports, and monthly reports for the head office.
- Maintain trade-related documents including trade blotter, holdings report, and maturity reports to track daily trade activities.
Requirements:
- Bloomberg experience is a plus
- 3+ years of experience working in ALM or Treasury at a financial institution
- Good communication skills
