The Role
The Associate will play a key role in advising clients on complex matters in construction, contract, and employment law. From drafting and reviewing contracts to supporting senior lawyers in litigation and arbitration, this position offers hands-on involvement in high-impact cases. The role includes conducting in-depth legal research, preparing strategic memoranda, and actively participating in negotiations and client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on construction, contract, and employment law matters
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and internal guidelines
- Support senior lawyers in litigation and arbitration proceedings
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda
- Participate in negotiations and client meetings
- Assist in creating internal templates and compliance frameworks
Ideal Profile
- Completed law degree (First and Second State Exam) or LL.M. in business law
- Interest or experience in construction law, contract law, civil law, or employment law
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in German (C1) and solid English skills
