Job Responsibilities
- Lead the origination and structuring of debt financing transactions across the Asia Pacific region, with a strong emphasis on the digital infrastructure segment within the TMT sector.
- Drive event-driven financing solutions for clients, including acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and strategic investments in telecom, media, and technology businesses.
- Collaborate closely with country bankers and product specialists in Project Finance, Acquisition & Leveraged Finance, and Syndicated Loans to deliver tailored financing strategies.
- Actively secure lead underwriting mandates, positioning the bank as a trusted partner for clients seeking capital for projects such as data centre development, fiber-optic network roll outs, and telecom tower acquisitions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the TMT industry to identify new business opportunities and promote the bank's capabilities.
- Provide sector-specific insights and thought leadership, ensuring the bank remains competitive and innovative in financing solutions for digital infrastructure.
- Oversee transaction execution where required, ensuring timely delivery, risk management, and compliance with internal standards.
- Represent the bank in client meetings, industry forums, and strategic discussions, reinforcing its reputation as a leading provider of financing solutions in the TMT space.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in loan origination and structuring, ideally within investment banking or corporate finance.
- Proven track record in leading complex financing transactions and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong preference for candidates with deep exposure to the TMT sector, particularly digital infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively market ideas and solutions to clients, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and secure strategic mandates.
- Commitment to high standards of integrity, ethical conduct, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of deal origination and execution.
- Ability to work collaboratively across regions and product lines, fostering a team-oriented culture while driving individual accountability.
