Product Analyst
Position Title: Product Analyst
Location: Murray, UT
Employment Type: Full-time - On site
Role Summary:
The Product Analyst will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of insurance products. This role involves conducting market research, drafting policy documentation, supporting regulatory filings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product implementation and compliance.
Qualifications/ Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years in Property & Casualty insurance (Underwriting, Marketing, or Claims),
or at least 1 year in Product Management or Actuarial roles.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA is a strong plus.
- Progress toward industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ACAS) is desirable.
Skills & Abilities:
- Solid understanding of personal lines insurance and policy language.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
Core Functions:
- Market & Regulatory Research
Conduct research on competitor offerings, market trends, and state insurance regulations to inform product strategy. - Product Development Support
Assist in developing recommendations for new products or modifications to existing ones. Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to presentations for leadership approval. - Policy Documentation
Draft and maintain policy forms, endorsements, customer advisories, and product manuals. - Metadata Management
Maintain accurate metadata for coverage forms and endorsements. - Product Implementation
Provide business requirements for system development, support user acceptance testing, and assist in creating training materials. - Regulatory Filings
Prepare and submit form filings to regulatory bodies and support the approval process through negotiation and follow-up.
Additional Functions:
- Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support product initiatives.
