Job Title: Large Commercial Broker - Program Administration

Location: Remote

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Large Commercial Broker to join their growing team of program administrators. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in commercial P&C insurance who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The broker will be responsible for managing relationships with retail agents, evaluating complex risks, and placing large commercial accounts into proprietary insurance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Placement & Underwriting Support

    • Evaluate and place large commercial risks into specialized insurance programs.
    • Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to ensure competitive and compliant program structures.
    • Assist in the development and refinement of program guidelines and appetite.
  • Broker & Client Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for retail brokers and agency partners.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive program growth.
    • Provide training and support to brokers on program features, submission processes, and technology platforms.
  • Marketing & Business Development

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote programs to target markets.
    • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and broker meetings.
  • Operational Excellence

    • Ensure all placements and communications adhere to regulatory and carrier requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (compliance, IT, finance) to support seamless program operations.
    • Utilize internal platforms to manage submissions, quotes, and policy issuance.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance, preferably in a brokerage or MGA setting.
  • Strong knowledge of large commercial risks and program business.
  • Proven ability to build and manage broker relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with insurance technology platforms and tools.
  • Active Property & Casualty license preferred.
