The Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers real-time trading systems. You'll work closely with developers, quantitative researchers, and traders to ensure the systems are secure, scalable, and highly performant. This is a hands-on role where your work directly supports the firm's trading operations and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments
- Build and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Monitor and optimize system performance and availability
- Automate operational processes and improve observability
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams to support development workflows
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployments
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Trading/HFT is a big plus
- Experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Familiarity with high-performance or low-latency systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
