Our client, a leading financial institution committed to supporting small business growth, is seeking a driven and experienced SBA Business Development Officer to join their team remotely. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with deep expertise in SBA lending and a passion for helping entrepreneurs access the capital they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Remote Business Development: Proactively source SBA loan opportunities across markets through virtual networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through the SBA loan process with clarity and responsiveness.
- Loan Structuring: Analyze financials and business plans to structure SBA 7(a), 504, and Express loans that meet client needs and comply with program guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including underwriting, credit, and closing to ensure smooth loan execution and client satisfaction.
- Market Awareness: Stay current on SBA program updates, lending trends, and competitive offerings to provide strategic insights and maintain a strong pipeline.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in SBA lending, with expertise in 7(a), 504, and Express loan programs.
- Demonstrated ability to generate and manage a remote pipeline of SBA loan opportunities.
- Strong financial analysis and credit evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
