We're partnering with a rapidly expanding healthtech company to hire a Director of Medical Economics. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to lead high‑impact economic modeling and cost‑of‑care analytics that directly support commercial payer and Medicare Advantage strategy.

The Director will work cross‑functionally with actuarial, clinical, data, and payer strategy teams to refine financial models, evaluate medical and pharmacy cost trends, and identify clear areas of cost avoidance. You'll help quantify the organization's value proposition, strengthen ROI frameworks, and support partnerships with commercial insurers and MA Part C programs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong background in healthcare economics, health services research, or a related field
  • Actuarial consulting experience is a major plus, especially in pricing, forecasting, or risk modeling
  • Deep understanding of commercial payer operations, claims data, medical cost drivers, and benefit design
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage Part C, including risk adjustment, RAF scoring, and STARS‑related analytics
  • Knowledge of PBM operations, formulary strategy, and integrated medical/pharmacy spend
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and refine economic models, build ROI frameworks, and quantify cost‑avoidance opportunities
  • Comfortable working cross‑functionally with analytics, clinical teams, and senior leadership
