Job Type: Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Salary: $120,000-150,000/year
Client/Job Summary:
An agency in the tech and pharma marketing space is seeking a Controller to lead their finance team, guide finance and accounting operations, and support its leadership team as the organization continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a finance team.
- Work with the accounting team to oversee monthly close processes and financial reporting.
- Build financial and operational processes.
- Oversee purchasing and procurement, as well as payroll recording in the general ledger.
- Create cash flow forecasting and projections, revenue cycle performance, financial reports, annual budgets, etc.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Work with executives and senior managers regularly.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience as a controller or senior accounting/finance leader at an advertising agency, marketing firm, public accounting firm, or healthcare-related business.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, audit requirements, tax compliance, and financial controls.
- Expertise in revenue cycles, resource planning, and financial analysis.
- Ability to partner closely with founders or senior leaders on revenue strategy.
