FP&A Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our client, a leading international bank based in Amsterdam. This role is critical in driving financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial planning and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with business units to assess financial impact of strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
- Support cost optimization and profitability analysis across different banking products and services.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of banking products, financial statements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities.
