FP&A Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our client, a leading international bank based in Amsterdam. This role is critical in driving financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial planning and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with business units to assess financial impact of strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
• Support cost optimization and profitability analysis across different banking products and services.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of banking products, financial statements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Power BI) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities.
