Role Overview
The Vice President Product Specialist supports fundraising by delivering analytical insights, preparing customized materials, and managing information requests from prospective and existing investors. The role requires deep knowledge of the firm's credit strategies, strong collaboration across internal teams, and the ability to translate complex product details into clear, persuasive communications. This position also contributes to product initiatives, engages directly with investors, and helps ensure high‑quality client materials and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Build strong expertise in the firm's credit products and communicate them clearly in written and verbal form.
- Join investor conversations, including quarterly performance calls and on‑site diligence meetings.
- Support product launches by helping shape concepts, coordinating deliverables, and managing timelines.
- Create tailored proposals for investors exploring custom product solutions.
- Develop investor materials such as reporting packages, quarterly updates, and portfolio analytics.
- Prepare internal reference content including FAQs and competitive analyses.
- Collaborate across functions to gather data and insights needed to address investor requests.
- Guide junior team members to ensure all work is accurate, timely, and high‑quality.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; CFA preferred.
- 7+ years of investment‑management experience with a focus on credit.
- Strong understanding of private credit vehicles, including BDCs, CLOs, and private funds.
- Experience with performance analytics and attribution for credit strategies.
- High intellectual curiosity and a problem‑solving mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong internal relationships and collaborate across teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing polished work.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities.
