Job Title: Large Commercial Broker - Program Administration

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Large Commercial Broker to join their growing team of program administrators. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in commercial P&C insurance who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The broker will be responsible for managing relationships with retail agents, evaluating complex risks, and placing large commercial accounts into proprietary insurance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Placement & Underwriting Support
- Evaluate and place large commercial risks into specialized insurance programs.
- Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to ensure competitive and compliant program structures.
- Assist in the development and refinement of program guidelines and appetite.
Broker & Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for retail brokers and agency partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive program growth.
- Provide training and support to brokers on program features, submission processes, and technology platforms.
Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote programs to target markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and broker meetings.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure all placements and communications adhere to regulatory and carrier requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (compliance, IT, finance) to support seamless program operations.
- Utilize internal platforms to manage submissions, quotes, and policy issuance.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance, preferably in a brokerage or MGA setting.
- Strong knowledge of large commercial risks and program business.
- Proven ability to build and manage broker relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with insurance technology platforms and tools.
- Active Property & Casualty license preferred.
