Associate/VP Asset Manager (Industrial & Logistics)

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive income through leasing and asset management initiatives, while managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external capital partners.
  • Minimise vacancy by working closely with third-party leasing agents, sourcing occupiers, and negotiating lease transactions.
  • Lead lease negotiations from initial interest through to agreement, including coordination with solicitors on legal documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local brokers, government officials, and prospective occupiers to enhance market presence.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials for current and upcoming vacancies.
  • Maintain deep market knowledge, including location dynamics, product positioning, and supply-demand trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (investments, finance, legal, design, marketing) throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Analyse asset reports including CapEx projections, rent rolls, and accounting files.
  • Support asset strategy development, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in leasing and asset management, including DCF modelling, LOI and lease negotiation, and financial statement review.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate market insights and transaction recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capabilities, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently.
  • Industrial and logistics sector experience is essential.
  • Ability to manage and oversee third-party property managers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn proprietary software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assets as required.
