A national, vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Manager to join the growing team. This role will focus on the strategic oversight and performance optimization of the firm's commercial real estate portfolio, including office, industrial, and retail assets across key U.S. markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the commercial real estate sector.
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, submarket dynamics, and tenant demand to inform asset strategy and investment decisions.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate asset performance, lease structures, and capital planning.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decision-making and risk mitigation.
- Support the evaluation of new commercial acquisitions and development opportunities through underwriting, due diligence, and site visits.
- Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal committees and capital partners.
- Assist in the execution of asset-level business plans, including leasing strategies, capital improvements, and disposition planning.
- Monitor asset performance metrics, including NOI, occupancy, leasing velocity, and Collaborate with internal teams across development, leasing, acquisitions, and finance to ensure alignment on asset strategy.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 4-6+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management or investment analysis.
- Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Deep understanding of commercial real estate valuation, lease structures, and market fundamentals.
- Experience with commercial properties (office, retail, industrial)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
