Trust Accountant - Professional Services Firm
Our client is a internationl trust provider to HNW individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of trust account balances and activity with supporting documentation.
- Monitor trust account transactions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and file trust account tax returns.
- Manage full set of accounts for trusts and underlying companies; prepare financial statements.
- Provide regular financial statements and reports to clients.
- Resolve issues or discrepancies related to trust account activity.
- Assist with client trust account setup and maintenance.
- Support trust managers with distributions, payments, and receipts for trusts and underlying companies.
- Assist with business development initiatives and client onboarding in compliance with internal procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Knowledge of trust accounting principles, software, and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
