About the Role

Institutional real estate investors often manage large, complex debt portfolios across fragmented systems. As a Loan Asset Management Associate, your role is to bring clarity and structure to that complexity.

You'll work directly with clients to transform unstructured loan data into actionable insights, enabling better reporting, sharper analytics, and more confident decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving financial puzzles, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and wants to grow into a client-facing advisory position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new clients by modeling loan terms and covenant structures in a proprietary platform.
• Design workflows to track covenant tests, loan reporting, and portfolio analytics.
• Monitor portfolios for changes such as paydowns, drawdowns, and refinancings.
• Prepare dashboards that highlight key risks, upcoming maturities, and performance trends.
• Build strong client relationships through regular calls and proactive insights.
• Collaborate with internal technology teams to improve platform functionality based on client feedback.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to delivery excellence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1-5 years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, loan servicing, or commercial banking.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to extract key data from loan documents.
• Exposure to commercial real estate loans and financial covenants.
• Excellent communication skills - able to translate technical details into client-friendly language.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to grow into a client advisory role.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Additional Details

• This is a full-time, on-site role located ~45 minutes outside of Philadelphia. While the team is in-office five days a week, occasional remote flexibility is available.
• The team is newly formed and growing, offering strong visibility and career trajectory. Promotion to Associate Director is the next step, with quarterly goal-setting and annual performance reviews.
• Compensation includes a base salary of $90K-$100K, a 10% performance bonus, and a 5% company bonus. Candidates starting before December 1st will be eligible for a pro-rated bonus; sign-on bonuses are also available.
