Japan Focused L/S Equity PM

We are currently representing an exciting Multi-Strategy Hedge fund who take a quantitative approach to trading. They are seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Long/Short Equity Portfolio Manager to lead a dedicated strategy focused on Japanese Equities. Key Responsibilities:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Excellent academics, graduating from top performing universities with a degree in a related field.
• Proven track record of alpha generation in Japanese equities within a long/short framework.
• Deep understanding of Japan's corporate landscape, macroeconomic drivers, and regulatory environment.
• Minimum 5 years of portfolio management or trading experience.
• Strong risk-adjusted returns and a clear investment philosophy.
• Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collegiate, high-performance culture.
