A leading healthcare organization is seeking an Actuarial Manager, Medicare Advantage Bids to play a key role in the development, submission, and strategic evaluation of annual Medicare Advantage bids. This position offers the opportunity to partner with senior leadership, product, finance, underwriting, and market teams to drive pricing decisions that directly impact profitability, growth, and competitive positioning.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly credentialed FSA or experienced ASA with strong Medicare Advantage pricing experience looking to step into a highly visible leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the development of annual Medicare Advantage bid submissions.
• Analyze trends in medical cost, utilization, risk adjustment, pharmacy, and membership experience to inform pricing assumptions.
• Develop and maintain pricing models used for bid development and strategic forecasting.
• Collaborate with finance, product, clinical, and market leaders to evaluate benefit design and pricing strategies.
• Monitor bid performance and identify opportunities to improve plan competitiveness and financial outcomes.
• Support regulatory filings, CMS submissions, and bid-related compliance requirements.
• Present bid recommendations and financial analyses to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Mentor actuarial analysts and contribute to team development initiatives.

Qualifications

• ASA or FSA designation required; newly credentialed FSAs are strongly encouraged to apply.
• 3-8+ years of health actuarial experience.
• Direct experience supporting Medicare Advantage bid development, pricing, forecasting, or financial planning.
• Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage products, risk adjustment, revenue dynamics, and benefit strategies.
• Advanced proficiency with actuarial modeling, data analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations.
• Prior project leadership or people management experience preferred.

• Health plan or consulting experience.
• Exposure to Part D and supplemental benefit pricing is a plus.
