Vice President of E&S Property
We have a fully remote opportunity for a Vice President of E&S Property at an MGA. They cover many classes including habitation, hotels, office, retail, manufacturing and more. You would be working directly with the President in this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the President and other senior executives to develop and execute the company's strategic plan for the E&S Property division.
- Underwriting Oversight: Ensure that all underwriting activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Review and approve large or complex risks.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of underwriters, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats. Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and other key stakeholders. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Financial Performance: Monitor the financial performance of the E&S Property portfolio, ensuring that targets for profitability, growth, and loss ratios are met. Implement corrective actions as needed.
