Private Credit Associate

Responsibilities
Associates will play a key role in evaluating, executing, and managing investments across a range of private credit strategies, including direct lending, structured credit, and opportunistic situations. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including modeling (LBO, cash flow, and credit analysis) to assess investment opportunities
- Support deal execution from initial screening through closing, including due diligence and structuring
- Evaluate borrower performance, industry dynamics, and key risks to inform underwriting decisions
- Assist in structuring transactions across the capital stack, including senior secured, unitranche, and subordinated debt
- Monitor portfolio companies, including reviewing financial performance, covenant compliance, and key developments
- Prepare investment memos and materials for internal investment committees
- Work closely with senior team members, sponsors, management teams, and third-party advisors
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A), private credit, or private equity
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set
- Experience with credit analysis and/or debt structuring preferred
- Solid understanding of capital structure, leverage, and risk/return dynamics
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to take on responsibility
