Position Overview

The Vice President will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across a diverse range of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth financings, management buyouts, and refinancings.

This individual will work directly alongside senior investment professionals, participate in investment committee discussions, interact with portfolio company management teams and boards, and help drive value creation initiatives across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead detailed financial analysis and complex modeling for debt and equity investment opportunities.
  • Evaluate prospective investments and develop investment theses, recommendations, and presentation materials.
  • Manage due diligence efforts, coordinating with management teams, consultants, lenders, and external advisors.
  • Take an active role in transaction execution from initial evaluation through closing.
  • Partner with portfolio company leadership teams to monitor performance and support strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in board meetings and portfolio oversight activities.
  • Mentor and develop junior investment professionals while fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Work closely with senior leadership on investment strategy, portfolio management, and new opportunity assessment.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private equity, private credit, or related investment roles.
  • Strong transaction execution experience and advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex investment opportunities and communicate recommendations effectively.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across management teams, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high attention to detail, and a desire to take ownership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and investment presentation development.
