They operate at the intersection of M&A and capital markets, with a strong emphasis on cross‑border transactions in the $50-$500M middle‑market.
They are looking for a Vice President to join their expanding San Francisco office and play a central role in transaction execution, team leadership, and client management, working closely with senior bankers on active mandates.
This is a hands‑on role suited for candidates who want meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and a clear path to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of M&A and capital markets transactions across technology verticals
- Act as day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, buyers, and counterparties
- Oversee financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and marketing materials
- Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates, ensuring high‑quality output
- Support senior bankers in business development, pitching, and relationship building
- Drive transaction processes from origination through closing
Qualifications
- 6+ years of investment banking experience, with a focus on technology
- Strong execution experience in M&A; capital markets exposure a plus
- Proven ability to manage deals independently and run multiple workstreams
- Deep understanding of software, internet, or consumer technology business models
- Experience working with founders, management teams, and financial sponsors
- Outstanding financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and team‑management capabilities
- Bachelor's degree required
