VP Cross Asset Sales - Swiss Distribution Clients
Our client, a leading European financial institution is looking for a Cross‑Asset Sales VP to join its Global Markets distribution team. Based in Madrid, the successful candidate will focus on developing and expanding relationships with Swiss distribution clients, delivering a broad range of Rates, Credit, and Equities solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with Swiss distribution clients, including private banks, independent asset managers, wealth managers, and family offices.
- Pitch, structure, and execute cross‑asset investment and hedging solutions across Rates, Credit, and Equities.
- Provide high‑quality market updates, investment themes, and product insights tailored to Swiss client needs.
- Work collaboratively with trading, structuring, and research teams to deliver customised ideas and high‑touch service.
- Drive revenue generation by identifying client opportunities and deepening wallet share across asset classes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, suitability frameworks, and regulatory expectations across multiple jurisdictions.
Candidate Profile
- 5-10+ years of experience in a Global Markets sales role.
- Strong product knowledge across Rates, Credit, and Equities, including structured and flow products.
- Existing relationships with Swiss private banks, IAMs/EAMs, and wealth platforms are a significant advantage.
- Ability to navigate the nuances of Swiss distribution channels, regulatory requirements, and client sophistication.
- Strong communication, idea‑generation, and relationship‑building capabilities.
- Proficiency in English required
