Credit Financing Structurer
Overview
Our client, a leading international financial institution is seeking an Associate / AVP to join its Credit Financing Structuring team in London. The successful candidate will help originate, design, and execute bespoke financing and derivative solutions across credit and funding markets, working closely with trading, sales, risk, and legal teams. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of experience ideally in structuring or potentially trading who is looking to deepen their expertise in credit‑linked financing.
Key Responsibilities
Structuring & Execution
- Structure and execute financing transactions across TRS, CDS, repo, loans, and bespoke credit solutions.
- Contribute to idea generation and trade construction across credit and cross‑asset financing products.
- Support transaction pricing, modelling, risk analysis, and term‑sheet preparation.
- Coordinate with trading to optimise risk, P&L impact and funding economics.
Product Development & Analytics
- Assist in the development of new financing structures using loans, derivatives, SPVs and collateral‑backed funding.
- Build and maintain models for cashflow analysis, scenario testing, and risk metrics.
- Analyse credit portfolios, individual credit exposures, and market opportunities to propose client‑aligned solutions.
Client & Internal Interaction
- Collaborate closely with sales to deliver tailored financing solutions to institutional clients, including hedge funds, private credit funds, banks, and corporates.
- Prepare marketing materials, trade rationales, and analytical support for client pitches.
- Liaise with credit risk, legal, operations, and documentation teams throughout the trade lifecycle.
