Summary:
We are currently partnered with a leading prop trading firm looking to add a Treasury Operations Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage liquidity, capital and treasury operations. The Treasury Operations Manager will report directly to the CFO and Global Head of Treasury allowing for high visibility. The ideal candidate will help drive strategic treasury initiatives in a complex and fast-paced environment.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Lead daily cash management and short-term investment activities across US and UK entities, including tracking interest income performance.
- Oversee margin and clearing operations, ensuring compliance with performance bond requirements and self-clearing processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and clearing firms to support funding and treasury functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model and forecast liquidity and capital needs, especially during stress scenarios and option exercises.
- Manage intercompany loan balances and regulatory reporting, including SEC haircut rules and SPAN margin calculations.
- Contribute to global treasury system improvements by defining tooling requirements, workflows, and integration points.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- 5+ YOE in treasury operations and clearing
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including SEC haircut rules, margin calculations and reporting for FCMs and broker-dealers
- Proficient in liquidity and capital modeling
