About the Role:
A leading trading firm is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead strategic initiatives for core trading systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the technology that powers our high-frequency trading strategies. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and trading teams to deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, low-latency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Drive end-to-end delivery of technical programs related to core trading infrastructure, including planning, execution, and risk management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, network specialists, and traders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- System Reliability & Performance: Oversee initiatives to optimize latency, throughput, and fault tolerance in trading systems.
- Roadmap & Prioritization: Define and maintain program roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices for program governance, release management, and incident response.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear updates to leadership and technical teams on progress, risks, and dependencies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in technical program management, preferably in trading, fintech, or other low-latency systems environments.
- Technical Background: Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, and high-performance computing.
- Project Management Skills: Expertise in Agile methodologies, risk management, and large-scale program delivery.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Preferred: Familiarity with market data systems, exchange connectivity, and regulatory compliance in trading.
