Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Staff Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software solutions for investment research, trading, risk management, and settlement systems. The role involves collaborating with business leaders, working under the CTO, and engaging with C-level leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable software solutions.
- Partner with business leaders to deliver custom solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Continuously improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-10 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java.
- Technical leadership skills and experience with distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science (top 20 school)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python,C++ is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial systems and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
