Senior Credit Analyst
A rapidly expanding commercial lending firm is looking for a new Senior Credit Analyst to take on a highly visible, fast‑paced role within its credit and risk organization. You will work directly with the Chief Risk Officer, evaluating complex credit files, analyzing cash‑flow strength, and shaping lending decisions across a growing portfolio. - Analyze borrower financials, including bank statements, tax returns, credit reports, and public records, to assess cash flow strength and overall creditworthiness
- Structure and price loans using internal frameworks, recommending eligibility, funding amounts, repayment terms, and documenting findings in clear, well‑supported credit memos
- Collaborate with the CRO, business owners, and internal teams to clarify financials, evaluate complex transactions, and support high‑velocity credit decisions across 25-30 deals per week
Requirements
- 2-5 years of credit analysis or underwriting experience with strong cash‑flow evaluation skills, strong communication, attention to detail, and advanced Excel ability.
- Background in bank underwriting, private credit, commercial lending, or government/healthcare financing
- Ability to work fully on‑site in Midtown NYC while managing a high‑volume workload with independence, sound judgment, and consistent execution.
