Role Overview
We are seeking a highly client-facing Multi-Asset Index Solutions Specialist to support the expansion and adoption of a leading index provider's offerings within the insurance and annuity landscape. This position blends technical expertise with commercial impact, making it ideal for individuals experienced in index development, fixed income strategies, or multi-asset product structuring-particularly in relation to insurance-linked products.
In this role, you will work closely with sales, relationship management, and product teams to translate complex index methodologies into practical, market-ready solutions that serve as the foundation for annuity products. Responsibilities will span index customization and design through to client delivery and revenue generation, partnering directly with insurance carriers and annuity providers.
This is a high-visibility position within a growing index business, offering the opportunity to play a core role in bringing index-driven insurance products from initial concept through launch and ongoing lifecycle support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance carriers and annuity providers, delivering clear and compelling presentations on how index strategies can be leveraged within their product offerings
- Partner with internal stakeholders across sales, client coverage, and research teams to develop and position tailored index solutions aligned with specific annuity structures
- Identify and execute commercial opportunities, including index licensing across fixed income, multi-asset, and bespoke strategies
- Provide subject matter expertise on index construction in the context of insurance applications, including volatility-managed, hybrid, and rules-based approaches
- Relay client feedback and market trends to product and research teams to help inform future index development and strategy
- Contribute to broader business planning efforts, including competitive positioning, market analysis, and go-to-market strategies targeting the insurance and annuity segment
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of relevant experience in areas such as index strategy, multi-asset solutions, structured products, or institutional client coverage, ideally with exposure to insurance or annuity markets
- Strong understanding of how indices are utilized within insurance-linked products such as FIAs, RILAs, or similar structures
- Proven ability to drive business outcomes through client engagement, strategic advisory, or revenue-generating activity within a technical product environment
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of commercial and quantitative teams, with the ability to translate complex concepts into client-ready solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with institutional audiences
- Demonstrated commercial discipline, including pipeline ownership, target management, and deal execution
- CFA or equivalent designation is a plus
- Analytical skillset with experience in data-driven tools; exposure to index analytics or backtesting platforms preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed; fluency in English required, with additional languages viewed favorably
