A globally focused investment firm is seeking a Macro Research Analyst to join its research team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior analysts and traders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, focusing on macroeconomic trends and market catalysts across asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct fundamental macroeconomic research across developed and emerging markets
Analyse policy developments, geopolitical risks, and economic indicators to assess market impact
Develop and maintain quantitative models to forecast macro trends and asset price movements
Collaborate with trading teams to generate and refine investment ideas across asset classes
Provide timely commentary on market-moving events and macroeconomic data releases
Evaluate special situations such as central bank actions, fiscal policy shifts, and capital flow dynamics
Attend industry events and maintain a strong network of information sources

Candidate Profile:

1-5 years of professional experience in macroeconomic research, multi-asset strategy, or related fields
Strong academic background in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a quantitative discipline
Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and statistical tools to real-world market scenarios
Prior exposure to fundamental research or trading environments preferred
Familiarity with derivative products and cross-asset market dynamics is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised, intellectually curious, and able to operate effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented setting
