Infrastructure Lead

This is a senior leadership role responsible for data centre expansion, colocation strategy, exchange connectivity, infrastructure deployment, network capacity planning and operational resilience. The successful candidate will work closely with trading, networking and engineering teams to ensure the firm's infrastructure footprint can support future business growth and increasingly demanding trading requirements
Responsibilities
  • Own the firm's global data centre and colocation strategy across key trading locations.
  • Lead colocation expansions, new site deployments, and infrastructure rollouts.
  • Evaluate and onboard data centre providers, exchanges, carriers, and infrastructure partners.
  • Manage exchange connectivity, cross-connects, private circuits, and low-latency network infrastructure.
  • Oversee capacity planning, hardware lifecycle management, and infrastructure optimisation.
  • Deliver major infrastructure projects including exchange migrations, facility upgrades, and new market launches.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and colocation providers.
  • Partner with trading, networking, and engineering teams to support business growth and operational resilience.
  • Ensure infrastructure meets requirements for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for strategic infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience across data centres, colocation, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or trading technology.
  • Proven track record leading data centre expansions, colocation deployments, or large-scale infrastructure programmes.
  • Strong understanding of exchange colocation environments and low-latency trading infrastructure.
  • Experience evaluating data centre facilities, carriers, and service providers.
  • Solid knowledge of data centre operations including power, cooling, rack design, cabling, and capacity planning.
  • Strong vendor management, commercial negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing infrastructure budgets, timelines, and multi-vendor projects.
  • Good understanding of network connectivity, private circuits, carrier diversity, and exchange connectivity.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on project execution.
  • Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills.
