Position Overview

We are looking for a Hexure (FireLight) Developer to design, configure, and optimize automation solutions for annuity platforms. This role will primarily focus on the Hexure FireLight platform, with opportunities to integrate other distribution systems such as AnnuityNet (AN4) and IPipeline (Affirm).

The successful candidate will work closely with operations, sales teams, industry partners, and vendors to deliver scalable automation and data exchange solutions that improve efficiency, enhance client experience, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize, and maintain Hexure FireLight applications to support new annuity product launches and workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to define requirements and implement solutions for annuity products.
  • Partner with third-party administrators and vendors to enable integration using industry-standard protocols (DTCC, ACORD, IRI).
  • Provide subject matter expertise on FireLight capabilities and related platforms.
  • Develop and maintain testing procedures and quality assurance standards.
  • Design and execute test scenarios, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Troubleshoot issues, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in Agile project teams, reviewing user stories and providing feedback during development cycles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in the annuity or insurance industry with a focus on technology, operations, or product implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with Hexure FireLight.
  • Familiarity with AnnuityNet (AN4) and IPipeline (Affirm) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of annuity products, distribution channels, and workflows.
  • Knowledge of data exchange protocols (DTCC, ACORD, IRI).
  • Proficiency in test design and automation best practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $80,000 - $92,000 USD
  • Additional components: annual bonuses, long-term incentives, comprehensive benefits, and retirement plan contributions.
  • Final compensation depends on location, experience, and skill level.
