Intranet Developer (AI & Sharepoint)
Contract Role: SharePoint & AI Solutions Developer (6 Months)
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative contractor to support Phase 2 of our intranet build, which will focus on advanced AI integrations and enhanced user experiences within SharePoint Online. This role will play a key part in designing and implementing intelligent, context-aware solutions that improve how employees interact with internal tools and information.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx (SharePoint Framework)
- Implement AI-powered features leveraging tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
- Build and manage integrations between SharePoint and external applications via APIs
- Utilize Microsoft Graph API to enhance functionality and enable dynamic, user-specific experiences
- Configure and optimize SharePoint user context and conditional access-based experiences
- Collaborate on Azure-based services and infrastructure supporting intranet capabilities
- Contribute to UI/UX design to ensure a modern, intuitive, and engaging user experience
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve functionality, automation, and usability
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SPFx customization
- Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
- Experience working with Microsoft Graph API and API integrations
- Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based architectures
- Understanding of SharePoint user context and conditional access concepts
- Experience integrating external applications into SharePoint environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in graphic design or user experience (UX/UI)
- Creative problem-solver who generates ideas and takes initiative with minimal direction
- Ability to navigate complex technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions
