Role Overview
This role sits within a technology team responsible for integrating internal trading platforms with third‑party sell-side systems. You'll play a key role in designing and maintaining robust integration services that support electronic trading workflows across the full order and trade lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build C# integration services and middleware connecting internal platforms with external vendor systems
- Develop and maintain APIs, messaging components, and data transformation layers
- Own integration logic across reference data, orders, trades, and post‑trade workflows
- Work closely with QA, business analysts, trading, and external vendors on requirements and testing
- Troubleshoot production issues related to message flow, data mismatches, and system behaviour
- Contribute to technical design discussions, performance tuning, and architectural improvements
- Produce clear documentation for integration flows and system interfaces
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET development
- Strong background in system integration and data transformation across large-scale platforms
- Solid understanding of sell-side trading workflows (order lifecycle, execution, post‑trade)
- Hands-on experience integrating with OMS/EMS and back-office systems
- Knowledge of messaging protocols and integration patterns (e.g. FIX, MQ, Kafka)
- Experience working in electronic trading environments (equities, ETFs, listed derivatives)
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to post‑trade processing, clearing, or settlement
- Familiarity with APAC market structures or regulations
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-availability trading systems
