Finance Controller - Regional Finance | Insurance Platform
We are helping our client, a fast-growing insurance and financial services platform, hire a high-calibre Finance Controller to strengthen their regional finance function. This is a key role responsible for building a strong finance backbone across reporting, controls, and cash management, while supporting business growth in a dynamic, multi-market environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the full financial close and reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, provisions)
- Drive cash flow visibility and treasury management, including liquidity planning and banking relationships
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Act as the main contact for external auditors and advisors, leading audit processes confidently
- Manage commission-based revenue and brokerage accounting, partnering closely with business teams
- Play a key role in ERP implementation and finance system optimisation
- Continuously improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA / ACCA / CA preferred
- ~8+ years of experience, ideally within insurance, brokerage, or regulated financial services
- Big 4 background highly valued
- Strong expertise in financial control, audit, and treasury
- Hands-on exposure to ERP systems or transformation projects
- A proactive mindset with the ability to partner with stakeholders and drive change
