Experienced Investment Banking Analyst - Generalist
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join their team in New York City. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of investment banking experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) experience. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions and gain exposure to a wide range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions, capital raising, and other strategic initiatives.
- Prepare detailed presentations, pitch books, and other marketing materials for client meetings.
- Perform due diligence and industry research to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of transaction documentation, including term sheets, confidentiality agreements, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and clients to develop and execute transaction strategies.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of investment banking experience, preferably with M&A exposure.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
