Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join its growing team. This is a generalist role, offering exposure to a wide range of industries and transaction types. The Analyst will play a critical role in supporting deal execution, client engagement, and internal initiatives. This is an in-person position based in Detroit, MI, and candidates must be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, comps), and industry research
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials
- Support transaction execution including due diligence, data room management, and coordination with clients and counterparties
- Assist in the development of strategic insights and recommendations for clients
- Collaborate with senior bankers and contribute to a dynamic, entrepreneurial team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 0-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, audit, or transaction advisory
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
- Willingness to relocate to Michigan and work in-person
Expected Compensation:
Base: $55,000 - $75,000
Discretionary Bonus
