A growing consumer goods company based in South Florida is seeking a Director of FP&A to support enterprise-wide financial planning and strategic decision-making. Role Overview:
This role will lead the company's financial planning and analysis function, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes. The Director of FP&A will play a key role in delivering actionable insights, improving financial visibility, and supporting growth initiatives across the business.
Key areas include corporate forecasting, financial modeling, KPI development, performance analytics, and executive-level reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the company's FP&A function, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
- Deliver consolidated financial reporting and variance analysis, providing clear insights into revenue, margin, and operating performance.
- Partner with executive leadership, sales, marketing, and operations to support pricing, demand planning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and enhance financial models to support scenario analysis, capital allocation, and growth initiatives.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive process improvements across planning, reporting, and data analytics; enhance systems and reporting capabilities.
- Support board-level and investor reporting, including preparation of presentations and strategic materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8-12+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, ideally within consumer goods, retail, or a related industry.
- Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Anaplan, or similar planning tools).
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a continuous improvement mindset.
