The Debt Advisory Associate will play a critical role within the firm's Capital Advisory practice, supporting deal execution, client engagement, and business development efforts. This individual will work closely with senior bankers to structure, negotiate, and execute a broad range of financing transactions-including leveraged buyouts, refinancings, recapitalizations, growth capital raises, and liability management assignments.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of debt financing and capital advisory transactions, including leveraged finance, asset‑based lending, unitranche facilities, TLB, mezzanine, and structured credit solutions.
- Develop detailed financial models, credit analyses, and capital structure scenarios to evaluate financing alternatives for clients.
- Prepare marketing materials including lender presentations, confidential information memoranda, rating agency materials, and market updates.
- Engage directly with lenders, credit funds, and institutional financing partners to support competitive processes and manage information flow.
- Conduct comprehensive industry and company research to support transaction positioning and strategic recommendations.
- Assist senior bankers with idea generation, pitch development, and ongoing client coverage.
- Help build and refine internal processes, market databases, and precedent materials to enhance practice efficiency.
- Contribute to a collaborative, entrepreneurial team environment by identifying new opportunities, improving workflows, and taking initiative on special projects.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, restructuring, credit underwriting, private credit, or related fields.
- Strong financial modeling skills and deep understanding of capital structures, credit metrics, and financing markets.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced, transaction‑oriented environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to ownership, creativity, and business building.
- High level of maturity, professionalism, and desire to engage directly with clients and financing partners.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline; strong academic performance required.
