My client is launching and scaling a market-leading Commercial Habitational platform and is seeking a senior leader to build out their Property & General Liability offering.
This is a high-visibility, market-facing role with full P&L ownership, responsible for underwriting strategy, product development, reinsurance, and distribution.
What You'll Do
- Build and grow a habitational Property & GL portfolio (apartments, condos, multi-family)
- Own P&L, portfolio performance, and underwriting strategy
- Develop products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines
- Lead carrier and reinsurance relationships
- Drive growth through broker and distribution partnerships
- Lead and scale an underwriting team
Ideal Background
- 10+ years in Commercial Property & GL, with habitational exposure
- Experience in E&S, MGA, MGU, or program/binding environments
- Track record of portfolio ownership, growth, or P&L responsibility
- Strong broker, carrier, or reinsurance relationships
- Experience building or scaling programs or business lines
- Currently a VP/SVP, Practice Leader, or senior #2 ready for a step up
