About the Role
Join our Middle Market Casualty team and take ownership of underwriting across industries like Construction, Retail, Hospitality, and Real Estate. You'll manage a high volume of submissions, apply technical expertise, and build a profitable portfolio in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal submissions within guidelines and authority.
- Assess risk and apply pricing strategies using proprietary tools.
- Build and maintain a strong book of business with renewal potential.
- Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to deliver timely, high-quality service.
- Apply deep knowledge of coverage forms and rating methodologies for accurate decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in E&S casualty underwriting or related insurance roles
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under deadlines
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
